Andrew Benoit, Executive Chef

A native of SE Michigan, Andrew (aka Drew) actually began his culinary career at Paesano in 2008 under the tutelage of award-winning and James Beard House chef - Isabella Nicoletti, handling the creation of daily specials menus and developing catering menus.  An opportunity in Florida lured him to the sunshine state in 2010 to the famous South Beach “Lincoln Road” mall in Miami, under chefs Nicola and Fabrizio Carro at the Quattro Gastronomia Italian.  He was soon asked to run the kitchen as the Sous Chef at the companies sister restaurant - Sosta Enoteca, where he spent the next three years.


In 2014, he was drawn back to Michigan and rejoined the Paesano staff as Sous Chef under Dave Whitney.  “We’re very excited to have Drew as our head Chef,” says Paesano Owner, Mike Roddy.  “He is extremely creative and equally talented, and has a great understanding of the Paesano customer base.”
